The SMART1 controller is a multi purpose device. It is freely programmable to perform a variety of duties in the fields of
weigh scale applications, process control, data management and communication.
Equipped with a Motorola MC68HC11 microprocessor, a real time clock and a total of 64 kilobytes of non-volatile
memory, the SMART1 is capable of collecting and managing a considerable amount of data.
Five serial communication ports and a I/O expansion socket can be used to connect the SMART1 to devices like scale
indicators, computers or printers as well as to switches, lights, motors and the like.
The SMART1's operator interface consists of a display screen and a keypad for alpha-numeric input.

The SMART1 can be programmed from any personal computer running a Windows operating system.
With the SMART1's PLAIN programming language you can easily build your own applications,
or we can do it for you. Over the years we have written a great number of SMART1 programs. Chances are, that
we already have software that will fit your application.
